Important — Audio File Handling: When you use our AI Processing feature, your audio file is uploaded to our secure cloud servers solely for transcription and summarization. Once processing is complete, the original audio file is automatically and permanently deleted. We will never use your audio recordings or transcripts to train our AI models unless you have explicitly opted in to do so. When you use AI conversation features powered by third-party large language models (OpenAI ChatGPT, DeepSeek, or Google Gemini), your text inputs are transmitted to the respective provider and processed under their privacy policies. Offline translation is performed entirely on-device and no translation data is sent to external servers.

3. Data Retention and Security

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by applicable law. When you delete your account, all associated personal data will be deleted or anonymized, except where continued retention is required by law.

Security Measures

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at app@getteks.co.

Please note: No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure. While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to us. Any such transmission is at your own risk.

We use Microsoft Azure as our primary cloud service provider. Your data may be stored and processed on Azure servers located in the United States and/or the European Union, depending on your region.

For users in the EEA or United Kingdom, we default to Azure's EU data centers. Ancillary operations may involve the United States, in which case we rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other approved safeguards.
